Thinking about hitting the ski runs early this year? Well don't forget to buy some extra warm gear because this winter is expected to be chilly. The most important of your equipment are gloves and boots, because you will most likely loose most of your body heat in those spots. This list focuses mainly on gloves, the single most important piece in my opinion.
1. Burton Ak Women's Guide Glove
These gloves are the ultimate Christmas gift for snowboarders. It is quite possibly the best insulation a glove has ever had. The outer material is both waterproof and breathable, while being durable enough to not disintegrate from wear and tear. Inside the glove, Primaloft insulation can warm your hand in the coldest of situations. The gloves also have dual chambers, so you can either use the main compartment for warmth or the second one for dexterity.
2. Pow Gloves Feva Glove
Not quite as nice as the Burton Ak, but this simple and effective glove will suit most boarders. It has goatskin leather palms to help with hanging on to the board and warm micro-fleece polyester on the inside. Don't worry about the lower price because this glove will be just fine for snow boarding in temperatures above 0 degrees.

3. Burton Women's Gore Gloves
This is the most stylish glove on the list. You can order them in plaid, with stripes, checkers, or just the average black. What's great about this glove is fashion won't compromise the quality. This Burton includes GORE-TEX inserts that are both waterproof and breathable. The glove also features goggle wipes, removable sticky grip palms, and tough grip palms.

4. Dakine Women's Camino Glove
This glove is best quality for the price on the list. Very simple rubber palm and Hipora Waterproof insert. It makes sure you stay warm on the slopes and won't break the bank. The design doesn't look too bad either.
Available for $45.00.
5. The North Face Women's Denali Thermal Glove
This is the best glove for the first time boarders. It gets the job done and if they decide that snowboarding is their thing then they can upgrade their equipment at that point. It keeps the warm stuff warm and the cold stuff out, very simple.
